The
arts: Disturbing new evidence has come to life about the political
leanings, or not, of Leonardo Da Vinci. Controversial historian David
Irving claims to have found proof that the German strain of fascism
was alive and well in renaissance Italy, the evidence being there in
the era's art for anyone who looks closely enough. Working closely with
scholars, Irving says he has found an earlier version of Da Vinci's
masterpiece the 'Mona Lisa' to support the theory. Click on the picture
